The Deputy Production Manager – Pharma is responsible for overseeing and coordinating manufacturing processes in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. This role involves managing the production team, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The position requires close collaboration with quality, planning, and logistics departments to optimize production workflows and meet deadlines. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and attention to regulatory requirements are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of the production process in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles;
- Managing the production team and providing support in their daily tasks;
- Supervising production documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
- Collaborating with quality, planning, and logistics departments to ensure timely production execution;
- Optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and quality;
- Ensuring compliance with safety and occupational hygiene procedures.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in a technical field (preferred disciplines: pharmacy, production engineering, chemistry, biotechnology);
- Experience in a managerial position within the pharmaceutical industry;
- Knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems applicable in the pharmaceutical sector;
- Ability to manage a team and plan production effectively;
- Very good command of English;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
